In Memoriam
WetInRed.com was the creation of Steve Katz, from Dallas, Texas who passed away unexpectedly at his home in Prescott, Arizona on January 21st 2007. It is believed that he died of a heart attack during his sleep. He was 52.
Shock and dismay at his departure was widespread through the wetlook community, at the loss of a popular and well-loved individual.
During the winter of 2006-2007, something he used to remark upon frequently was the weather: he was longing for a really decent snowfall. One would imagine that he liked the snow, as many of us do. After his death, I found that he had left behind on the site, four recent images of snow that he had shown me previously, take on December 28th 2006. I thought Iād post them for everyone to see.
Snowfall in my own native southern England is rare now; we will typically get at most one proper snowfall a year. I found it rather fitting, though, that not long afterwards ā on February 8th ā it snowed here, too, almost as a tribute to Steve.
